Configure FCS to work with Itron Mobile

Itron will provide credentials for Itron Mobile and these credentials need to be setup in FCS. Before starting please make sure to have these credentials readily available.

Open FCS and login as an administrator user.

Once Itron Identity services has been selected new options will become available. These options will be used to configure FCS and Itron Mobile devices to securely communicate with each other.

Scroll down the list and locate the section for Itron Identity Services. In this section locate “View/Edit Identity Server Client Secret” drop down menu and change it from No to Yes.

Upon changing the above option FCS will now allow access to the rest of the configuration options in the Itron Identity Services section. Locate and open the credentials sheet sent by Itron.

Copy the values from the following fields and paste them into the corresponding section in FCS:

Identity Server ClientID
Identity Server Client Secret
Tenant ID

Verify that the other sections (URL, API URL, Scope) are correct. Under normal circumstances the defaults listed for these will not need to be changed.
